For the last couple of years, Chris Aker has served as our Director of Community Life. This is a huge responsibility for a church like Sugarloaf and she has done a great job for us. We will miss seeing her friendly face in the office. We will miss her constant reminders to post information on the website! We will miss her wit and sense of humor. We will pretty much just miss "her."
Fortunately, she and her family are still part of the Sugarloaf family so we don't have to actually tell her goodbye.
I hope you will let Chris know how much we appreciate all she has done for us. The fact that you are reading this blog on a newly designed and creative website is largely due to her hard work and devotion. She has spent many hours the last few months making the new site possible and it is really wonderful!
