Regardless of whatever else you are doing today, please take a moment to remember and honor a truly wonderful group of people...the Veterans of our Armed Forces! The freedoms and liberties we enjoy today have been purchased by the sacrifice and service of the men and women of our military throughout our nation's history. Pause today to remember those veterans who no longer live among us. Pause to thank and show respect for those veteran's we live with and see everyday. Pause, as well, to say a prayer for those who currently serve at home and around the world.
I particularly want to say "Thank You!" to those veterans who are part of our Sugarloaf Church Family. We don't always know who you are because you, in your humility, don't draw a lot of attention to yourselves or what you did for our nation. Please know that I and your Church Family join a grateful nation in expressing our heart felt thanks for your service! We will be recognizing our Veterans as part of this Sunday's worship. I hope to see all of you there.
