Do you know people in your neighborhood who are veterans or active duty military? What would it mean to them if you called in the next day or so and said, "My Church respects you and your family for the service you have given. We have planned a special service this Sunday to honor you and the many others who have served. Would you be my guest at this service?" That invitation would probably bring a tear to their eyes and cause them to feel truly appreciated. Why not call and invite them right now?
In addition to inspiring music and patriotic tributes, we will have an opportunity to hear from veterans as they reflect on their love of God and love of country. You won't want to miss this opportunity!
